1. Data categories
Yovela separates data into four working categories.
- Identity data: account and profile information.
- Story data: messages, choices, characters, relationships, progress, and generated responses.
- Operational data: device events, diagnostics, abuse signals, and service logs.
- Commerce data: product, purchase, refund, and entitlement records.
2. Purpose limitation
We use each category only for defined purposes: running your account, continuing stories, protecting the community, processing entitlements, supporting users, measuring performance, and improving the product.
3. Story memory
A story may keep structured memory—such as names, inventory, promises, relationships, time, and discovered secrets—to make later scenes coherent. Deleting a story or account will queue associated memory for deletion, subject to safety and legal retention.
4. Model processing
Relevant story context may be sent to contracted AI service providers to generate a response. We minimize the context used where practical and require providers to handle it under contractual safeguards.
Yovela will disclose in-product if story content is used for optional model improvement and will provide a choice where required.
5. Retention approach
Account and story data is generally kept while your account or story remains active. Short-lived service logs may be retained for reliability and security. Records required for fraud prevention, finance, or law may be kept longer. Exact periods may vary by data type and jurisdiction.
6. Export, deletion, and correction
Where available, account tools will let you correct profile information, delete stories, and request account deletion. For access or export requests, use in-app support. We verify requests to protect your information.
7. No data sale
Yovela does not sell personal information or story content. We do not use story messages for third-party behavioral advertising.
